Yangpyeong is a healing destination that is easily accessible for residents of the metropolitan area, as it is close to Seoul. With its clean natural environment, a variety of local food, experiential travel spots, and healing attractions, it is a popular choice for travelers due to its geographical advantages.

Dumulmeori

Dumulmeori is the confluence of the Bukhan River and Namhan River, flowing into the Han River that runs through Seoul’s city center. It is one of the representative tourist spots in Yangpyeong and a popular healing destination easily accessible to travelers. Due to its proximity to the metropolitan area, it is a favored spot for people enjoying drives even on weekdays. While at Dumulmeori, be sure to try the famous Dumulmeori Hot Dog—a must-visit hot dog spot. Dumulmeori is also known for its mystical mist over the water, making it a popular photography spot for photographers.

Parking Fee: 3,000 KRW

On days with good weather, it is a great idea to enjoy a tour of both Dumulmeori and Semiwon together.

Semiwon

Semiwon is an eco-based public garden located at the confluence of the Namhan River and Bukhan River, where the ecological and natural environment of Dumulmeori is preserved. It is the first national garden in the metropolitan area and is a representative space promoting environmental conservation. With its beautiful surroundings and an environment focused on ecological sustainability, it is a garden of water and flowers, created to make the Han River clearer and richer.

Seohuri Forest

Seohuri Forest is a filming location for BTS and features a beautiful walking trail through the forest. Covering 300,000 pyeong (approx. 1,000,000 m²) of private land, 100,000 pyeong has been preserved to maintain the natural terrain, with a walking path through it, surrounded by a variety of flowers and trees. The forest includes birch trees, maple trees, lily trees, multi-layered trees, wild cherry trees, coniferous forests, and Metasequoia forests.

A Course (Total time: 1 hour)
A healing walking trail suitable for families and children. This one-way trail ensures that walkers don’t cross paths, offering a quiet and peaceful experience.

B Course (Total time: 30 minutes)
Centered around coniferous forests, this course is ideal for those with limited mobility or anyone looking for a shorter walk in the forest.

Hidden Address Cafe

Hidden Address Cafe is located near a valley, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery while healing amidst nature. Upon entering, you’ll notice the clean and sophisticated white-toned interior, with stylish vintage furniture and eye-catching lighting.

The cafe offers a variety of drinks, including coffee, fruit ade, Assam tea, Hawaiian hibiscus, milk shaved ice, mango shaved ice, and more.

In addition to drinks, meals are also available, but they are offered by reservation only. If you’re looking to enjoy fresh air and take in the breathtaking natural views of the valley, Hidden Address Cafe is a must-visit.

Yangsuri Bakery

Located near the Paldang Lake, Yangsuri Bakery is a “delicious and healthy bakery.” Thanks to its collaboration with ‘GALLERY K,’ you can enjoy not only freshly baked bread and coffee but also beautiful artwork and breathtaking scenery.

Yangsuri Bakery follows the principle of producing and selling freshly baked goods on the same day. The bakery exclusively uses natural yeast from nature, along with high-quality French flour rich in wheat bran, organic rye flour, and domestically sourced Korean wheat. No preservatives are added to any of their products.

Enjoy coffee and bread on the rooftop The bakery is spread over five floors, with a rooftop area available. On the first floor, you can find a bakery corner offering a variety of breads, including injeolmi bread, pang d’or, sausage bread, sweetened condensed milk baguette, croissants, rice cream cheese bread, and matcha scones. You can also watch the bread-making process through large windows. We recommend finding a seat by the window or on the rooftop to enjoy your coffee and bread while taking in the view of Paldang Lake.
